چکیده

Indonesians believe in a tradition passed from generation to about the properties of herbal medicine. Meniran leaf is one ber grown Asia and found many parts Indonesia. It contains flavonoids alkaloid able stimulate immune system antioxidants combat ROS. Antioxidant can neutralize effects caused by oxidative stress (a conndition where an imbbalance between oxidants body). Antioxidants prevent degenerative diseases malignancies prolonged stress. Because its ability oxidation, this study uses meniran leaves further investigate uses. This aims look into leaves’ phytochemical constituents, antioxidant capacity, toxicity. extract was made maseration using methanol, screening used Harborne’s method, capacity Blois’ DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazil) total phenolic content Singleton’s toxicity with BSLT. Phytochemical determined that it alkaloids, flavonoids, cardioglycosides, glycosides, saponins, coumarins, phenolics, quinones, betacyanins, steroids, terpenoids, tannins. Its antoxidant ((IC50 =81.585µg/mL), (10,295µg/mL), (13.788 µg/mL), (LC50 =170.308 μg/mL) which be considered have cytotoxic effect categorized as moderate (100 ppm ≤ LC50 1000 ppm). In summary, has potential antimitotic
